Village is engineered European Oak built for people who want the big-plank look without the flagship price. A genuine 3mm oak wear layer sits over a multi-ply timber core, with the plies laid cross-grain so the board holds its shape across a wide face. Both widths are finished with a light brushed surface texture and micro-bevelled edges on all four sides, which gives each plank its own defined line and makes the floor read as timber rather than as a sheet.

Two formats are available, both 14mm overall with a 3mm wear layer. The 190mm range is a 1900mm board, supplied 2.166 m² per carton at around 19kg. The 220mm range is a 2200mm board, supplied 1.936 m² per carton at around 19kg. Cartons contain set-length planks plus approximately 30% nested shorter planks, which is normal for this style of floor and is what keeps it affordable — plan your set-out accordingly. Both are tongue-and-groove and can be direct stuck or floated by a professional installer.

The grade is ABCD European Oak, so expect character: variation in specific colours could include natural mineral streaks, black stain, medullary rays, knots and slight surface checking and filling, along with batch colour toning. Janka hardness is 5.5–6.0 kN, moisture content approximately 7–10%, density 0.75 g/cm², and VOC emissions below E1. The finish is a matte polyurethane coating.

Village suits living areas, bedrooms, hallways and open-plan spaces where you want a wide plank to do the work. Keep it out of wet areas — bathrooms, WCs and laundries. It can be installed over “In-Slab” hydronic heating only, and the installer must follow the slab preparation, system installation and post-installation commissioning requirements in full. Village carries a 25 year limited residential structural warranty and a 20 year limited residential coating warranty.
