Pronto is our ready-to-go engineered European Oak. The whole point of the range is availability: it is stocked in depth in a tight, well-chosen palette, so it is the floor you specify when the job needs to start rather than wait. A 3mm oak wear layer is bonded to an 11mm multi-layer plywood substrate for a 14mm finished board.

The grade is Hi-Spec Visual A/B/C, which means fewer knots and fewer split defects than a standard character grade, and a cleaner, more harmonious face. It still allows the natural features that make oak worth having — sapwood, raised grain and colour variation — but it does not lead with them. Every board is pre-finished in a matte PU lacquer over a light wire-brushed surface, with tongue-and-groove joints and micro-bevelled edges.

Two formats are available. The wide plank is 190 x 14/3mm in a 1900mm set length with approximately 25% nested shorter planks, supplied 2.166 m² per carton at around 19kg. The herringbone parquetry is 120 x 14/3mm in a 600mm length, supplied 0.864 m² per carton, and is direct fix only — it cannot be floated. Five of the twelve plank colours are also produced in herringbone, so a border or feature area can be matched to a plank floor in the same tone.

Pronto is rated P3 for slip resistance to AS/NZS 4586, emits below E1 (well under World Health Organisation levels), and carries fire test data to AS/ISO 9239.1 with a critical radiant flux of 7.5 kW/m² and mean smoke development of 17 percent-minutes. It is suitable for installation over “In-Slab” hydronic heating only. The wear layer can be sanded back and refinished later in the floor’s life. The wide plank range carries a 25 year limited residential structural warranty and a 20 year limited residential coating warranty. Trims, coloured scotia and stair nosing are available across the range.
